Contributions to the Archaeology of Egypt, Nubia and the Levant (CAENL)


Within the scope of the series Contributions to the Archaeology of Egypt, Nubia and the Levant are monographic studies or reports dealing with archaeological topics of the Middle East including Cyprus, Nubia and the Sudan. Emphasis is on Egypt’s pharaonic period and the Bronze and Iron Ages of the adjacent countries of the region, respectively.

Until 2018, the series was coordinated by the Institute for Oriental and European Archaeology (OREA) and subject to international peer-review, supervised by the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
