It focuses on prehistoric research on various topics and periods in the Balkans and is intended as a publication medium for scientific networks between Central and Southeast Europe.

The series is edited by Barbara Horejs (OREA), Carola Metzner-Nebelsick (LMU) and Peter Pavúk (ICAR). All submitted manuscripts are subject to international peer-review, supervised by the series editors.
